U.S. Airport Beer

When traveling by air in the U.S. you will find a sparse sampling of beers to chose from. Here are my recommendations:

1. Ask for a local beer: presuming the place you’re in has them they probably know what they are.

2. Don’t go for the typical beers, Budweiser or Miller or Coors. Sam Adams in any flavor is better than the majors.

3. If you have to go with the majors, go lite. There is little discernable between the regular and the lighter offerings. You might as well save the calories since the taste is roughly the same.

4. If you’re not sure on the above, go with what you don’t know.

As with many things in life: your mileage may vary

Boulder Beer Company Obovoid Empirical Stout

Slightly musty smell, but more like an old library kind of good musty.

Rich head thay stays round, lots of lacing on the glass

Dark pour, as one wold expect form a stout.

Flavor is mellow. Very easy going down. Slight chocolate taste.
